Main Street Programs operate on a Four-Point Approach:

1. Organization - fundraising, volunteer development, and public relations;

2. Promotion - retail events, special events, and image development;

3. Design - building improvements, public improvements, signage, visual merchandising and historic preservation planning.

4. Economic Restructuring - market analysis, business development (retention, expansion, recruitment) and real estate development.

Each of the above points are supported by Main Street communities throughout Wisconsin.  Partners coordinate activities and events that relate to their area of responsibility to ensure that the Program's goals and objectives are met.
